Pianist Christine Doré enjoys an active and varied career as a chamber musician, soloist, teacher and accompanist. She earned degrees from the New England Conservatory and the Mannes College of Music. As a chamber musician and accompanist, Christine has toured Eastern Europe, the UK and many states in the US. She is a founding member of the ensemble Chamberosity, which has commissioned, debuted and recorded two exciting Trios for Violin, Horn and Piano from composers Eric Ewazen and Peter Winkler. Christine has performed as a soloist with several NY area orchestras. She spent 15 years as a Professor of Music at LIU Post, and is now a Professor of Music at Suffolk Community College. Christine has been the accompanist for the Huntington Choral Society since 1994. She is devoted to her many students; both past and present.
