Concerts at SJH
Experience a transcendent afternoon of music as the celebrated vocal ensemble Divalicious! presents “A Sacred Journey in Song,” a captivating concert featuring the musical talents of sopranos Gina Haver and Ruthann Turekian, mezzo-soprano Leslie Valentine, and pianist Daniel Ragone. This one-of-a-kind performance will take place on Sunday, April 19, at 4:00 PM in the sanctuary.
Well known across Long Island for their dynamic performances ranging from Broadway hits to operatic masterpieces, Divalicious! invites audiences to embark on a new musical program spanning diverse eras of sacred music. Listeners will be transported through time, with selections from the Baroque period to contemporary compositions, featuring works by renowned composers such as JS Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, WA Mozart, Gomidas Vartabed, Henry Purcell, Pietro Mascagni, and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The SJH Harvest Fair
The Annual Harvest Fair is the single largest fundraising event at St. John’s and is organized by the ECW. The Fair takes place at St. John's on busy Main Street in Huntington NY. The entire community attends the Fair, live music is featured; and local produce and regional fresh cheese are sold. Hand-made craft items are created by the members of St. Hilda’s Guild for sale at the Fair, and the word on the street is that the best Bake Sale in Huntington is featured in the Great Hall on the Fair Day. Also, look for the Thrift Shop and White Elephant Sale.
Neighbors from Huntington and beyond look forward to SJH’s Harvest Fair every year. It’s a time of fun, fellowship, and fundraising for those in our community who could use a helping hand. For decades, this late-autumn gathering has represented the best of who we are: friends committed to being present, serving one another, and enjoying a good time at the corner of Main and Prospect! We’d like to thank you for your interest in sharing your goods and/or services at our Harvest Fair, and we invite you to read this packet and register as soon as possible – space is limited! And don’t forget: a free breakfast of coffee and bagels will be available for vendors on Fair day! See you on October 24 from 10am-4pm, rain or shine!
